I tried it but still feel the same, sometimes it's very hard to forgive.

You are right; it can be hard to forgive. I think that if we keep in mind the forgiveness is for us, not just the other it helps too. It is more burdensome to carry around the bad feelings that come with not forgiving. And it frees your soul to be able to just say: I forgive you, even if it is only in your head and heart.

As someone who USED to hold grudges for years and years, i learn that forgiving really means forgiving yourself not the person who hurt you. And when you forgive yourself you become light and happy. And once you become a serene happy person, no one CAN hurt you anymore.
So it's not about forgiving others, it's about forgiving yourself for allowing others to hurt you.
