I was watching the new season of Top Chef and some of them had to cook this, Geoduck, pronounced 'gooeyduck'. It is a saltwater clam found on the Pacific coast of the US and Canada. They are dug up here and shipped to China, where they eat them. I must say, this is one of the most repulsive looking 'clams' I've ever seen! Glad to be a vegetarian...
